Description

The MSK series R911317826 (MSK100D-0300-NN-S2-AP2-RNNN) self-cooling servo motor, designed by Bosch Rexroth, is known for its compact and high torque density build, perfect for flexible high-performance drive systems used mainly in machine tools and metal-forming machines. It incorporates an optical, single-turn encoder with an EnDat 2.1 interface and system accuracy of ±20 angular seconds, which stores motor type and control loop parameters, reducing startup time and facilitating safe adaptation to its drive controller. It eliminates the need for a separate incremental encoder. The motor is designed for increased concentricity and carries an IP 65 Ingress Protection rating. The temperature is monitored via a stator-integrated KTY84 thermal sensor and an independent temperature model. Finished with a black 2K epoxy resin protective coating, the motor successfully resists dust, water jets, and certain chemical solutions. It dissipates heat through natural convection.
