The VT 1600-S-2X is a sophisticated servo amplifier engineered by Bosch Rexroth, forming an integral part of the renowned VT 1600 product lineup. Traditionally utilized for the control of servo valves, this amplifier is designed for vertical installation in a card holder or within a Euro card magazine. Measuring 128 x 5 millimeters, the front plate allows easy access to the primary amplifier PCB which stands at 100 x 160 millimeters. This device translates an input signal into a measured output current for the valve, which can then be monitored via an inbuilt ammeter situated on the front plate. Boasting a PID control circuit, the VT 1600-S-2X allows for optimal tuning adjustments via the front-facing potentiometers. The device weighs around 0.33 pounds and can function within a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, and can be stored between -20 to 70 degrees Celsius. The onboard relay hosts a coil with a nominal resistance of 2000 Ohms and operates at 22 to 28 volts DC. The overall power supply range is contingent on the presence of a voltage regulator, and the output current range is ±60 milliamps or ±100 milliamps.
