VT 3006-S-2X

The VT 3006-S-2X is an analog amplifier plug-in card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT 3000 Analog Amplifiers series. It serves as an interface between external control electronics and proportional solenoid valves, translating voltage commands into modulated coil currents needed for smooth hydraulic actuation in industrial machines. Installed in system racks, the card allows motion or pressure loops to be tuned through on-board electronics instead of discrete wiring, streamlining maintenance and configuration.

The amplifier operates on a supply range from 22 VDC to 39 VDC, protected upstream by a 2.5 A T fuse. Internally it establishes a biasing current of 20 mA ±25% to center the control circuit, while output stages can furnish up to 800 mA of solenoid current for proportional valve coils. During normal duty, total current draw with load remains below 1 A and overall power demand does not exceed <50 VA, which limits heat generation in enclosed cabinets. Four primary command channels accept ±9 V references, and a fifth channel is scaled for ±6 V, giving designers flexibility when matching different loop gains and sensor ranges.

Physically, the board follows a 100 mm × 160 mm format and weighs only 0.15 kg, making it compatible with lightweight card guides. All I/O and supply lines terminate on a 32-Pin DIN 41612 Form D connector, so replacement involves sliding the card out without disturbing field wiring. Reliable operation is specified between 0 °C and 50 °C, allowing installation in standard electrical enclosures that are temperature-controlled but not actively cooled. With power consumption, biasing tolerance, command scaling, and thermal limits clearly defined, the VT 3006-S-2X supplies predictable performance when regulating Bosch Rexroth proportional valves.
