VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat VT-VRPA1-500-20/V0 amplifier belongs to the VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers series and is engineered for precision control of pilot-operated servo solenoid valves in industrial automation. It features an IP66-rated positioner enclosure providing robust protection against dust and water ingress and incorporates a Smart Positioner Type 3730-1 with EEx ia protection for intrinsically safe operation in hazardous areas. With variable 4-20 mA signal output, the VT-VRPA1-500-20/V0 ensures accurate feedback for loop control, making it ideal for high-performance pneumatic actuator systems.
This amplifier supports an actuator area of 350 cm² with a pneumatic actuator Type 3277, delivering reliable force over an operating pressure range of 0.8 to 2.4 bar. A built-in ramp function allows smooth transitions, while the air fail-close function secures the actuator in a safe position upon power loss. The unit houses two SPDT relay outputs rated at 1 A, 30 V DC/AC, and accommodates a maximum shut-off pressure of approximately 16 bar. Connectivity is achieved via a 32-pin male connector, and power is supplied from 11-30 V DC (optionally 18-30 V DC), offering flexibility in system design.
Built to DIN standards, the VT-VRPA1-500-20/V0 uses DIN 11850 Series 2 fittings and stainless steel WN 1.4404 plugs for corrosion resistance and long-term durability. A backlit LCD with 5-digit display and multiple LEDs on the front panel provide clear status indication and diagnostic feedback in temperatures from 0 °C to 70 °C. Optional LCC-100 configuration software simplifies commissioning and maintenance. Certified for IP65 transmitter housing and EEx ia protection, this compact 100 × 182 mm unit enhances operational efficiency, safety, and reliability in demanding industrial environments.
