VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers

VT-VRPA Electric Amplifiers are analog Eurocard amplifier cards used to control pilot-operated servo solenoid valves in hydraulic systems. The series is designed for 19-inch rack installation and uses a closed-loop output stage with PID-based valve position control. These amplifiers support several control and setup functions, including an enable input, adjustable valve zero setting, multiple command inputs, and a configurable ramp function. The ramp can be adjusted internally, controlled through an external voltage signal, or disabled when the application requires direct response. Built-in monitoring and protection features include feedback-cable open-circuit detection, undervoltage indication, and short-circuit-proof solenoid outputs. The amplifiers operate from a nominal 24 VDC supply or an appropriate rectified AC input, using clocked current regulation with fast energizing and de-energizing behavior to support responsive valve actuation.
