Its compact eurocard footprint keeps wiring short, maintains signal fidelity, and allows the unit to add dither and ramp functions that stabilize motion profiles in closed-loop automation.

The module is powered from a single 24 V DC supply. During maximum modulation the control electronics draw up to 1.8 A, a figure that must be considered when sizing cabinet power rails. An onboard fuse rated at 2.5 A slow-blow absorbs brief inrush currents yet clears sustained faults to protect downstream devices. The board follows the classic 3U eurocard outline with a depth of 160 mm and a height of 100 mm, while its separate front panel rises to 128.4 mm so channel indicators remain visible when latched in a rack. External harnessing couples through a 32-pin male connector, enabling quick card swaps without disturbing fixed cabinet wiring. Operating temperature spans 0 °C to 50 °C, and storage is permissible between –25 °C and 85 °C, accommodating typical plant logistics. With a mass of only 0.1 kg, the card imposes minimal mechanical load on guide rails and supports rapid maintenance cycles.
