CS Compact Controller Systems

CS Compact Controller Systems are integrated tightening controllers built for industrial fastening applications using compatible hand-held nutrunners or stationary tightening spindles. Each system combines the main tightening-control hardware in one compact unit, including the servo amplifier, power supply, controller, operator display, and expansion slots for optional interface modules. Tool and spindle connections provide motor power while also carrying the required control and feedback signals for the connected tightening device. Depending on the version, the platform may include enhanced operator interfaces, larger touchscreen displays, and integrated logic functions based on IEC 61131-3 for machine sequencing. That logic is intended for control coordination and is not used as a safety function. For setup and system integration, CS controllers provide interfaces such as USB device and host ports, Ethernet, serial communication, external display support, and removable storage. Safety-related machine integration is handled through a dedicated motor-off interface, with two independent stop concepts available: contactor-based isolation and rotating-field suppression for connection into an external emergency-stop strategy.
