CSH Advanced Controllers
The CSH01.1C-NN-EN2-NNN-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW is a modular control section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It serves as the motion-logic core inside IndraDrive power units, interpreting feedback from attached encoders, processing analog measurements, and forwarding safety signals to higher-level controllers. By combining encoder evaluation, fast analog conversion, and integrated safety terminals on one card, the unit coordinates multi-axis positioning tasks in industrial automation.
The card is powered from a control supply of DC 24 V, giving all on-board electronics a stable reference. EN2 feedback is digitized through a 12 Bit A/D converter, while the same resolution is applied to the MA1 analog interface so voltage levels translate directly into position or process values. The EN2 port can source up to 350 mA at a regulated 5 V to the attached encoder and tolerates signal frequencies up to 500 kHz without missing counts. To maintain signal integrity on long cables, the differential inputs present a line impedance of 120 Ohm and the driver side may not drop below the specified 35 Ohm load. MA1 offers two differential inputs, two voltage-mode outputs, and isolates each channel to minimize ground loops.
User interaction is handled by 4 control panel keys that trigger parameter navigation or local jog moves. Safety wiring lands on a D-Sub 9-Pin female connector; its opto-isolated inputs draw 3 mA each, while the semiconductor outputs can sink or source up to 0.5 A. An internal relay provides hard-wired shutdown with a make contact rated for DC 1 A. For process acquisition the MA1 board supplies 2 analog input channels so torque, pressure, or speed references can be streamed straight to the drive without external I/O modules.
