Rotary and linear encoders receive a regulated supply of 12 VDC at up to 500 mA, and the separate Profibus repeater rail furnishes 75 mA from the internal 5 V source to maintain signal strength across long segments. The starting-lockout function expects a 24 VDC, 3 mA signal, ensuring the drive remains disabled until upstream safety logic is satisfied. Together, the dual analog outputs, 5 V Profibus feed, and 500 mA encoder line give the controller the power and signaling headroom required for multi-axis packaging, printing, and material-handling assemblies.
