The CSH01.1C-S3-EN1-EN2-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section that fits into the modular CSH Advanced Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed inside an IndraDrive power unit, it provides the real-time processing needed to regulate torque, speed, and position loops in multi-axis automation lines. By combining signal conditioning, encoder evaluation, and fieldbus exchange on one board, the section lets machine builders execute coordinated motion without a separate PLC layer.

This model draws a basic idle load of 7.5 W from the backplane while operating on a logic supply of DC 24 V. Eleven discrete channels are available as digital inputs (11) for limit switches or probe triggers, and four transistor outputs supply digital outputs (4) that can drive contactors or status lamps. Two differential channels act as analog outputs (2) for velocity or torque setpoints. A single normally-open relay contact offers galvanically isolated signaling to external safety circuits, and an RS232 port supports service access. The module accepts a maximum pulse width of 100 ms on its fast input group, ensuring accurate capture of short marker signals.

Axis feedback is handled through two separate interfaces. The first port supports HSF/Resolver devices common on legacy motors, while the second accepts EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL encoders for high-resolution absolute position data. Drive-to-controller exchange uses SERCOS III, allowing deterministic cyclic data at the bus level. During power-up the card draws a 4 A inrush to charge its internal capacitors before settling to nominal consumption. Together, these communication and feedback resources let the section synchronize multiple axes, monitor position down to sub-micron resolution, and forward status words to higher-level controllers without additional interface cards.
