This advanced control unit mounts directly onto the power section and interfaces seamlessly with IndraDrive power modules. It is designed for demanding environments where precise motion control and system configurability are paramount. The modular enclosure accommodates multiple functional modules, offering a versatile platform for machine tools, packaging, handling, and paper-processing applications.
In its standard configuration, the controller delivers 2 Analog Outputs and operates as a SERCOS III Master Communication interface at 100 Mbps full-duplex over standard Ethernet cabling up to 100 m in length (minimum bend radius enforced). The primary encoder interface supports EnDat 2.1/1 Vpp/TTL, while an integrated analog I/O extension module and a safe motion safety module occupy two of the four available slots (one slot remains vacant for future expansion). The unit runs on 24 V DC from the power section, consuming 7.5 W nominal power with an inrush current of 4 A. It withstands ambient temperatures from 0 to 40 °C at elevations up to 1000 m without derating and limits assembly/disassembly cycles to 20 to maintain hardware integrity.
