This Advanced Control System features a primary encoder option of Indradyn/Hiperface/1 Vpp/TTL and supports a secondary EnDat2.1 encoder configuration. Built for industrial automation, the controller delivers 2 analog outputs and accommodates a broadened I/O landscape. Its robust design ensures seamless operation when paired with legacy and modern Rexroth drive subsystems.
Performance is optimized through flexible cycle time management, with velocity control 125–250 ms, current control 62.5–125 ms, and position control 250–500 ms modes. SERCOS cycle times start at 250 ms, adjusting per deployed firmware. The unit draws 7.5 kW nominal power with a 4 A inrush current and runs on a 24 V DC supply at a 100 ms pulse width. A single relay contact offers switching between 2–16 Hz, while embedded thermal monitoring safeguards reliability under sustained load.
Integration is enhanced by 4 programmable digital outputs, 1 analog input, and 11 digital inputs, along with an optional L1 safety module for risk-reduced environments. A PROFIBUS communication module extends connectivity to diverse fieldbus topologies. Firmware licensing is decoupled from hardware, permitting streamlined upgrades in situ.
