The CSH01.3C-CO-ENS-EN2-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is an intelligent drive controller section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in a modular IndraDrive platform, it houses the main processor, safety logic, and communication ports that synchronize single- and multi-axis servo modules. Its function is to execute motion profiles, close velocity and position loops, and forward diagnostics over fieldbus links so that machine tools, packaging lines, and material-handling stations achieve consistent positioning and coordinated speed control in industrial automation environments.

The card provides two high-resolution analog outputs; each conversion finishes in 10 µs, allowing velocity commands to refresh every control cycle. These channels remain linear when driving loads down to 5 kΩ and deliver a reference of 5 VDC, 1 mA, a level compatible with most power stages. Six opto-isolated digital inputs sense logic at 24 VDC, 3 mA, removing the need for external signal conditioning. Four protected transistor outputs can sink up to 500 mA, enough to switch contactors, solenoids, or motor brakes. CANopen and DeviceNet buses exchange setpoints with higher-level controllers, while an RS232 port is available for commissioning and service tools.

Integrated encoder supplies simplify feedback wiring: port one furnishes 11.6 VDC, 300 mA for resolvers or Hiperface encoders, and port two offers a sensed line of 5.0 VDC that compensates for cable drop in TTL interfaces. The board forwards auxiliary 24-volt power to peripheral sensors through an internal rail limited to 1.1 A, keeping backplane conductors within temperature ratings. All operating parameters and firmware images reside on a removable MultiMediaCard, allowing rapid replacement or cloning. Safe Motion technology supervises STO and SS1 functions, and a relay contact rated 24 VDC at 1 A provides galvanic isolation for emergency-stop circuits.
