Each analog output is refreshed in 750 µs, so velocity or pressure setpoints can be updated at kilohertz rates. Output granularity is defined by a resolution of 24 mV/incr, allowing fine voltage steps when the card is driving valve amplifiers or external converters. For current-sinking loads the channel tolerates an ohmic impedance down to 2 kΩ, which prevents loading effects that could distort the commanded signal shape.

Capacitive devices, such as shielded cable runs to piezo actuators, can be connected provided their line capacitance does not exceed 100 nF. When multi-encoder feedback is required the plug-in reader board adds just 1.1 W, while the multi-Ethernet communication slice increases demand by another 2.7 W; both values help size the cabinet’s 24-volt power budget accurately. Selecting these expansion modules keeps processing inside the controller and avoids external gateways, which simplifies diagnostics and maintains deterministic timing across the drive network engineered by Bosch Rexroth Indramat.
