The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MTC-P01.2-E2-A2-A2-NN-FW EP from the MTC200 CNC Modules series is a high-performance CNC (Without Export Restriction) controller designed for precision drive management. This Version 2 (Eight Axes, with co-processor) module incorporates an integrated axis processor and two additional co-processor units, enabling control of up to 24 drives. Communication with drives is handled via three SERCOS fiber interface loops, each supporting up to 8 axes, and featuring optical transmission wavelengths between 640–675 nm. The module houses 1 MB RAM onboard and is supplied in an ISA bus module format for installation in BTV 20/30 industrial PCs.
The MTC-P01.2-E2-A2-A2-NN-FW EP excels in reliability with its power fail function that secures critical data for uninterrupted restarts after power loss. Its fiber interface maintains spectral bandwidth below 30 nm at 25 °C and operates across ambient temperatures from 0 to 55 °C. Optical performance is specified with a maximum transmitter power of –2.5 dBm at high level and –28.2 dBm at low level, while receiver inputs tolerate up to –5 dBm at high and –31 dBm at low. The link budget supports a maximum attenuation of 12.5 dB, ensuring robust communication over extended fiber runs.
