MTC200 CNC Modules

The MTC200 CNC Modules series includes industrial CNC control modules for both PC-based and rack-mounted machine control systems. The MTC-P01.2 is designed for installation in an industrial PC through a free ISA bus slot, while the MTC-R01 and MTC-R02 versions are built for RECO rack-based cabinet installations. Each module combines a CNC processor with an integrated axis processor and uses SERCOS fiber-optic communication to control connected drives. In the base configuration, the system supports up to 8 drives. With additional axis processor expansion modules, the platform can be expanded to control up to 32 drives across as many as seven processes using multiple fiber-optic loops. The MTC-P01.2 can be configured as a single-slot PC installation or expanded into a multi-slot arrangement when additional axis modules are added. The MTC-R versions are installed in a modular rack environment alongside MTS-R SPS modules, creating a compact machine-tool control system with 24 VDC supply connection, modular expansion capability, and configurable fieldbus or serial interfaces through the SPS side of the architecture.
