The Bosch Rexroth 1070170191 (PPC-R22.1N-T-NN-NN-NN-FW) CNC module is part of the MTC200 control units. It's designed for a switch cabinet installation with a RMB02.2 sub-rack, boasting a double-wide housing. This module supports up to eight drives through a SERCOS interface, thanks to its incorporated axis processor. It's assembled in a modular rack system, but doesn't support multiple product connections via a backplane. Physically, the module must be vertically positioned for thermal reasons and weighs 1.3kg. It operates on required MTC control unit firmware and additional components. It integrates a non-expandable 4MB flash memory firmware with bootstrap loader/monitor, CPU firmware, and APR firmware. The module communicates with corresponding digital drives utilizing fiber optic technology in its SERCOS interface. Additionally, the device includes S1 and S2 buttons for display switching and module resetting and has no functionality at the X15 BT bus connection.
