RM Profibus Modules

Bosch Rexroth Indramat  RM PROFIBUS Modules are PROFIBUS-DP slave modules used to connect pneumatic valve block assemblies to decentralized fieldbus control systems. The RM series is designed for Rexroth valve block platforms such as VTS 02, HF 03/HF 02, and MC valve systems with multiple plug connectors. Each module is addressed through onboard rotary switches, while bus speed is detected automatically across the PROFIBUS-DP range from 9.6 kBaud to 12 MBaud. Integrated bus termination can be enabled directly on the module, simplifying installation at the end of a network segment. The modules monitor both logic supply and valve-control voltage and provide diagnostic indication for issues such as undervoltage, valve driver overload, and fieldbus communication errors. Depending on the network configuration, cable runs can reach up to 1.2 km without a repeater, with up to 32 participants supported per segment and larger networks possible when repeaters are added.
