S20 IndraControl Modules
S20 IndraControl Modules are IP20 modular I/O components designed for control-cabinet automation systems. The S20 platform uses a station-based layout, where a controller or bus coupler forms the station head and additional I/O modules are installed alongside it on a shared local bus. The series supports a wide range of machine-control functions, including digital I/O, analog signal processing, communication, temperature measurement, control tasks, and position-related applications. Module versions are selected by function, channel count, and connection type. Digital input options include 16-channel and 32-channel modules for 24 VDC signals, with features such as configurable input filter times, fast update performance, and support for different sensor wiring methods depending on the specific module. Mechanically, the system uses DIN-rail-mounted bus bases, pluggable connectors, and snap-on electronics modules. This design allows electronics to be replaced without disconnecting the field wiring from the connector assembly. The platform supports 100 Mbps local bus communication and is specified for industrial cabinet environments with IP20 protection, non-condensing humidity, and operating temperatures up to 60 °C.
