The SYHNC100-NIB-2X/W-24-P-D-E23-A012 axis controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. It is intended to execute position and force loops for hydraulic or electromechanical axes, replacing discrete cards with a single programmable module. The controller installs on a wall inside the cabinet, and its internal architecture allows machine systems to coordinate motion commands, sensor feedback, and fieldbus traffic directly at the machine. Its circuitry integrates self-diagnostic routines and stores parameters in nonvolatile memory, enabling quick recovery after power cycles. A grounded metal housing provides electromagnetic shielding so analog signals remain clear in electrically noisy environments.

Four separate analog channels are available for both voltage and current signals. The hardware provides 4 voltage and 4 current analog inputs together with 4 voltage and 2 current analog outputs, allowing transducers and proportional valves to operate without external converters. Incoming measurement accuracy is supported by a 5 mV resolution, while a calibrated ±10 V reference supplies stable excitation for passive sensors. All signal processing is handled by a 16/32-bit MC68376 processor. An RS-232 serial port is also available for local parameter loading.

A Profibus DP interface links the controller to higher-level PLCs, and the unit provides 24 input and 24 output digital channels for limit switches, pilot valves, and diagnostic LEDs. Profibus communication supports cyclic data exchange for real-time setpoints, while acyclic services allow access to diagnostic variables through compatible configuration tools. The module has an 8 W power draw under nominal load, and each transistorized output provides a 50 mA switching capacity without additional relays. The HR1000 and HR2000 sensor calibration modes are selectable through the controller settings. The wall-mounted enclosure separates the controller from rack electronics and provides clear access to its connections.
