The SYHNC100-SEK-22/M-24-0-C-E24-A047 is a digital axis controller built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the VT-HNC Digital Axis Controllers series. Designed for closed-loop control of hydraulic or electric positioning drives, the module processes motion commands and feedback directly within the rack of a machine controller. Its rack-mounted housing simplifies insertion into standardized 19-inch frames and allows tight grouping with power supplies or additional I/O cards, supporting compact cabinet layouts in automated production lines and packaging cells.

The controller uses a CANopen fieldbus to exchange setpoints and diagnostic data with higher-level PLCs. At the core of the board, an MC68376 microprocessor executes motion algorithms, supported by 1 MB of flash EPROM for program storage, 256 KB of battery-buffered RAM for variable data, and an additional 8 KB of EEPROM for parameter retention. Position feedback arrives through incremental or SSI encoders, and the input stage accepts edge frequencies up to 250 kHz and 28-bit serial words without undersampling. Discrete machine interaction is handled by 24 input and 24 output channels. Each digital output can source up to 50 mA, while the input logic is sensed against a 3 kΩ resistance with a tolerance of ±10%. The card draws only 8 W from the 24 V supply, helping limit heat accumulation inside the cabinet. Its dimensions are 106.5 × 155 × 204 mm, allowing the module to fit the intended rack arrangement while preserving clearance around adjacent components. The aluminum frame weighs 1.2 kg, which limits the load placed on the mounting rails. The rack rails and compact enclosure leave sufficient space for airflow between neighboring modules.
