XFE01.1-SY-01

The XFE01.1-SY-01 is an automation controller module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the XM21 IndraControl Systems series. It serves as a programmable platform that coordinates motion, logic, and safety tasks in distributed factory cells, linking field devices to higher-level networks through its integrated communication interfaces. By combining I/O processing with real-time fieldbus support, the unit provides central sequencing capability while fitting directly into control cabinets alongside drives, sensors, and other PLC hardware.

The controller operates from a regulated input of 24 V DC, supplied through the XA-CN01 plug, and is rated for Overvoltage Category II, meaning transient energy levels are limited to those typical of fixed-installation equipment. Electrical isolation meets Protection Class III, so only Safety Extra-Low Voltage circuits are used inside the product. Continuous service is permitted between -25 °C and +60 °C, allowing placement in unconditioned enclosures close to machinery. Functional safety is handled by the Sercos (CSoS) and PROFIsafe protocols, which let the controller exchange certified safety telegrams with drives and remote I/O. A non-condensing ambient humidity of up to 95% can be tolerated, and rapid program download or diagnostics are completed through standard engineering ports without removing the device from its DIN rail.

For cabinet integration, the housing satisfies ≥ IP54 once installed behind a suitable door, while the bare module itself carries an internal rating of IP20 to protect against finger contact. Reliable service is maintained in atmospheres reaching 95% (non-condensing) relative humidity, and storage is possible from -40 °C to +85 °C without damage to internal components. The plastic body snaps onto a TH 35-7.5 (DIN EN 60715) mounting rail, enabling quick replacement or repositioning in densely populated panels.
