Auxiliary Bleeders

Auxiliary Bleeders are add-on energy dissipation modules used with ECODRIVE DKC drive controllers when the drive’s internal bleeder capacity is not enough for the application. The series increases the system’s ability to handle regenerated energy from braking, deceleration, or emergency-stop events. These modules connect through the DC bus and can be used with a single drive controller or as part of a shared-bus arrangement with multiple drives and additional bleeder units. Their role is to absorb continuous regenerative power, peak regenerative power, and accumulated braking energy so the drive system stays within its permissible feedback-energy limits. Each module uses a 24 VDC control supply and includes front-panel status indication and reset functionality for service and operation checks. For cabinet installation, the units provide defined DC bus connection terminals and require specified mounting clearances. Overall, the Auxiliary Bleeders series is intended for servo systems with higher regeneration demands that require extra braking-energy dissipation beyond the standard ECODRIVE DKC controller.
