Its communication layer is based on SERCOS III, enabling cyclic set-point transfer and diagnostic telegrams over gigabit-rate Ethernet in 31.25 µs update cycles. Internal electronics are powered from a dedicated 24 V DC control supply that keeps parameter memory and safety circuits active even when the mains is isolated.
