The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-EN2-NNN-ENS-S2-S-NN-FW control unit from the CDB Control Units series features SERCOS III master communication and supports encoder evaluation via ENS optional modules at X4.1 and X8.2 for Encoder Indradyn/Hiperface/1 Vpp/TLL and Encoder EnDat 2.1/1Vpp/TLL. Each module uses a female 15-pole D-Sub connector, requires a typical supply voltage of 11.6Vcc, delivers up to 500mA output current, and includes a protective diode against polarity reversal. The unit provides a front-panel RS 232 serial interface, analog and digital inputs/outputs, a Safe Motion optional module for safety functions, a standard control panel with four keys and a single-line display, and a multimedia memory card slot for drive parameters, firmware, and operating data. It also offers two configurable digital inputs (Type 2 and Type 3) for probe applications, one Normally Open relay contact, and consumes 9W at 24VDC.
