Geared for use in various sectors such as material handling, food processing, machine tools, and paper printers, the control unit has an easy-to-use standard panel. The unit features an MMC for saving drive variables, firmware, and other configuration data while maintaining parameters of two axes. With a current control cycle time of 125 microseconds and minimum SERCOS cycle time of 1000 microseconds, the unit also has two encoder interfaces with an ENS option for IndraDyn, Hiperface, TTL, and 1 Vpp. The device supports 2kHz, 4kHz, or 8kHz multi-frequency operation, offers digital I/Os for connection versatility, and enforces safety standards in compliance with EN 13849-1 / EN 62061 requirements. Available for global delivery, the unit comes with a one-year warranty from Indramat USA.
