The mechanical outline supports dense drive racks: the housing is only 103 mm deep, 49.5 mm wide, and 241 mm high, permitting vertical stacking beside power modules while maintaining convection clearance. Each network port terminates in a shielded RJ-45 (8-pin) connector, so standard industrial patch leads can be used without proprietary cabling. During energization the board tolerates an inrush pulse that can last up to 110 ms, after which steady demand never exceeds 8 W from the 24-volt bus, easing power-budget calculations for multi-axis systems. A built-in RS232 port remains available for local commissioning or firmware service tasks when Ethernet access is not desirable.
