The Indramat Rexroth R911260138 (DDC01.1-K050A-DA07-00/S001) drive uses a DSM software module to contain its specific operating parameters, which are customized during commissioning to harmonize the drive controller with the servo motor and mechanical system. This module approach simplifies repairs as only the module needs replacement, not the entire drive. Once installed in the new DDC drive controller, the software module allows easy duplication of the previous parameters via a serial interface, creating a back-up while also permitting configuration. Interaction with the connected machine components happens through DEA 4.1 auxiliary plug-in modules, offering fifteen inputs and sixteen outputs. Connection to an interbus S data highway is possible through a DBS 2.2 interface module.
