DMD Servo Drives

The DMD Servo Drives series serves as the compact positioning drive platform for Indramat MINIDRIVE systems using matched MMD servo motors. These drives are built for smaller AC servo applications and are offered in 230 V versions matched to motor power ratings from 100 W to 750 W. The paired motor feedback system uses a 2500 pulse-per-revolution encoder, and the matching motors operate at a nominal speed of 3000 rpm. For motion control, DMD drives support step-command positioning, jogging, origin return, reset functions, automatic gain tuning, dynamic braking, and parameter-based setup. Machine connection is handled through dedicated signal, interface, and serial connectors, while front-panel keys provide local access for setup and operation. Built-in monitor functions display key operating data, including position deviation, velocity, torque, current position, I/O status, and active alarms. Overall, the DMD series is designed for compact servo systems that need integrated position control, matched drive-and-motor pairing, and adjustable operating behavior in a small package.
