IndraDrive FCS Frequency Converters are three-phase AC drives used to control asynchronous motors in industrial machine applications. The FCS series uses voltage/frequency control as its primary operating method and can also support sensorless current vector control for improved starting performance and more stable speed behavior under changing loads. These converters are available for common industrial supply classes, including 230 V and 400/480 V systems, with a broad output-power range depending on the selected model. Motor output frequency can be adjusted from 0 to 400 Hz, allowing the drives to support both standard motor operation and higher-speed spindle applications. Built-in functions include automatic motor parameter identification, PID process control, programmable DC braking, ramp shaping, flying restart, and basic signal recording for setup and troubleshooting. For integration, the drives include serial communication capability, practical onboard I/O, and optional fieldbus interfaces for use in networked control systems.
