This HCS Drive Controller accepts 3 x AC 200...500 V ±10% mains and supplies a peak current of 8 A to the power stage. An air, internal (through integrated blower) cooling system maintains optimal operating temperatures without external fans. Its streamlined design supports plug-and-play integration into existing HCS Compact Converter Series installations.
Engineered for advanced automation, the controller features a SERCOS III master (cross communication) Communication Interface and dual fieldbus ports: Encoder IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 and PROFIBUS. The Control Section Design Type is classified as ADVANCED, paired specifically with the Control Section Design "ADVANCED" (A) to unlock extended diagnostics and firmware management. The unit’s IP20 rating safeguards electronics against dust ingress in industrial environments, while the Design Version 1 ensures consistency across linear production runs.
