The Bosch Rexroth Indramat HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-DA-NN-NN-FW drive controller is part of the HCS IndraDrive Controllers series, designed for precise motion control in food, printing, packaging and paper processing machines. It features an internal air cooling method through an integrated blower and supports a maximum device peak current of 18 A. With a nominal connection voltage of 3 x AC 110…230 V ±10%, this compact converter ensures reliable power delivery and efficient thermal management, making it suitable for continuous industrial operation.
This controller offers advanced communication via MultiEthernet and an encoder interface compatible with IndraDyn Hiperface/EnDat 2.1/2.2 standards for high-precision feedback. Its control section design type is labeled BASIC, paired with the matching Control Section Design “BASIC” (B). The unit carries an IP20 rating, reflecting its enclosure protection against solid objects larger than 12 mm. Firmware is ordered separately as a sub position, allowing for customized upgrades. Though not equipped with a dedicated safety interface, it supports safe start-lockout to prevent unintended startups during maintenance.
Constructed with durable steel and aluminum components, the HCS drive controller maintains performance at installation altitudes up to 4,000 m and withstands vibration sine peak-to-peak amplitudes of 0.15 mm from 10 Hz to 57 Hz. The internal blower cooling and IP20 protection ensure dependable operation in harsh environments. It also features separate type plates for its control section and power section for clear identification.
