The HCS Compact Converters / Drive Controllers are a type of storage medium by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. These devices, commonly known as MultiMediaCards or MMCs, are designed to store firmware, parameters, and diverse files ranging from user-specific documents to programs. Stationary MMCs, used as programming modules, are permanent and irremovable, while temporary MMCs are detachable, suitable for updating firmware or transferring and saving parameters.
