The HCS Compact Converters / Drive Controllers are a type of storage medium by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. These devices, commonly known as MultiMediaCards or MMCs, are designed to store firmware, parameters, and diverse files ranging from user-specific documents to programs. They can be implemented as either stationary or temporary equipment. Stationary MMCs, used as programming modules, are permanent and irremovable, while temporary MMCs are detachable, suitable for updating firmware or transferring and saving parameters.
