You’ll need power and motor cables capable of handling peak currents without excessive voltage drop or heating, and the DC bus supply must provide clean, stable voltage under full load so the controller doesn’t enter undervoltage or derating conditions.

The built-in blower forces airflow internally but still requires ambient clearance and proper orientation to avoid heat buildup; positioning must allow fresh air intake and exhaust without obstruction to prevent overheating under continuous use.

IP10 gives protection against large bodies (like hands) but offers almost no protection against dust or water ingress; thus, the controller must be installed in clean, dry control cabinets, ideally with filtered airflow if dust is present.

One must include measures for holding brake control, motor temperature monitoring (via PTC/NTC), proper shielded feedback wiring, protecting against EMC, and ensuring error‐shutdown paths (e.g. overcurrent, overheating, communication loss).

Matching firmware version, function ID, and all configuration codes is essential to ensure calibration, safety parameters, and communication protocol behavior align; using a mismatched version may lead to drive faults, disagreement in diagnostic data, or degraded performance.
