It consists of a configuration type plate, a basic controller unit, a communication module, a software module, and optional plug-in modules, and it comes with a factory-fitted SERCOS command module. Firmware, which needs to be purchased separately, is loaded on the software module, while slots U2 to U3 on the controller unit can house different digital I/O and interface cards. This air-cooled device with an internal blower design has specific requirements for minimum spacing and operating temperature range between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius, with risks of output derating and potential damage beyond that.
