HLL Bus Chokes

Bosch Rexroth HLL Bus Chokes are current-compensated DC-link chokes used in IndraDrive systems to help regulate the DC bus between a supply unit and connected drive axes.

These chokes add controlled inductance to the DC link, helping reduce current spikes and smooth the effects of rapid load changes across the shared bus. This supports steadier energy transfer between the power supply and the drive system during demanding machine operation. The HLL series is designed for high-voltage DC bus applications within the IndraDrive platform and includes both continuous current ratings and short-term peak current capacity for dynamic motion profiles. For cabinet-based installation, the units feature a temperature monitoring contact and require proper mounting orientation, spacing, and free-convection airflow to support heat dissipation. Electrical connection is handled through DC+ and DC− terminals with a required protective earth connection, making correct polarity, grounding, and continuity essential during system wiring.
