With such high prospective fault current, upstream fuses or circuit breakers must be chosen to interrupt safely without nuisance trips, be coordinated with the drive’s rating, and ensure downstream wiring, terminals, and protective devices can handle let-through energy (I²t) and potential arc flash hazards

Because of its high DC bus voltage, ability to deliver up to ~42.4 A continuously, and wide input range, it works well for medium-to-large servo motors in robotics arms, pick-and-place machines, large conveyors, or packaging lines with frequent speed/torque changes.

Shared DC bus or multi-axis setups require balancing energy flows (regeneration, braking), proper sizing of the DC supply and filtering, ensuring voltage ripple is controlled, and planning thermal distribution, as drives operating at different loads may impact each other; also firmware/configuration must support synchronization.

Having a 700 V DC-bus allows handling higher power and longer cable runs with lower current, but demands insulation, spacing, and components rated for ≥700 V (e.g., capacitors, busbars) to maintain safety and avoid overvoltage stress.
