The KDA 3.3-100-3-DQS-U1, Bosch Rexroth Indramat, KDA Spindle Drives series features a robust main spindle drive designed for high-precision machining. It delivers a Rated Current of 100 A with a DC Bus Voltage of 300 V, enabling continuous torque delivery across a wide speed range. The drive’s high stiffness and advanced positioning features ensure optimal spindle control under dynamic loads. A forced cooling scheme maintains thermal stability during extended operations.

Key technical features include an AC Supply Source for Heatsink Blower at 115 VAC powering the Cooling system that expels heat via a dedicated heatsink blower, sustaining continuous operation at rated current. The drive accepts a Digital 16-Bit Parallel Speed Command Value and provides an Aux. Encoder Input for 1 V sinusoidal signals, enabling high-resolution feedback for closed-loop torque control. Configuration and diagnostics are conducted over the integrated Aux. Interface, using the Serial Interface RS 232 C protocol for streamlined communication and parameter cloning. Based on Design 3 of the Product KDA and part of Series 3, the module’s compact form factor simplifies installation in tight cabinet spaces.
