KDA Spindle Drives
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat KDA 3.3-100-3-LP0-U1 from the KDA Spindle Drives series is an intelligent digital drive controller designed for precise motor management. It delivers a continuous current of 70 A and a rated current of 100 A on a 300 V DC bus, while the integrated heatsink blower operates at AC 50–60 V. High-resolution rotor position measurement across the full speed range is supported via a SERCOS interface speed command. An auxiliary encoder input provides spindle or second motor feedback, enhancing control versatility. Housed in an IP10 enclosure, this air-cooled unit ensures reliable performance when mounted inside a protective cabinet and operated at altitudes up to 1000 m and temperatures between 5 °C and 45 °C.
