The drive section accepts a DC 750 V supply rail and routes power, control, and safety signals through a single Hybrid Connector, which shortens installation time on distributed machines. Heat is removed by Natural convection, eliminating the need for fans or liquid cooling. Network access is handled by Multi-Ethernet, allowing the controller to switch between SERCOS, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET without hardware changes. Position feedback enters over Hiperface, and the optical sensor works with winding code 61 to furnish precise rotor information. The frame 061 stator is matched to length code C, and a shaft seal blocks dust and oil from the bearing zone.

The optical feedback adds 128 signal periods per revolution and retains multi-turn absolute data, so homing motions are unnecessary after shutdowns. Integrated Safe Motion with SBC is labeled Safe Motion (with SBC) and can cut torque on demand without opening the main contactor. An electrically released brake engages when control power is removed and is energized by DC 24 V, supplying static holding capability for vertical axes. The output end uses a Plain shaft, making coupling straightforward when backlash-free connections are required. Collectively, these features deliver consistent decentralized motion without external enclosures.
