The Indramat R911260994 (RAC 4.1-400-460-L00-W1) is a digital AC main spindle drive controller engineered for operating either an asynchronous main spindle motor or a frameless spindle motor. This controller delivers up to 93 kW of continuous power output and is characterized by high rigidity and a wide speed range, suited for automated machine tool applications. Its internal automatic position control loop offers a positional resolution of 1/4,000,000 revolutions. The device connects to three-phase supply networks with rated connection voltages of 3 x AC 400 V, 50 Hz (±15%) or 3 x AC 460 V. It features an internal blower for cooling and includes a D.C current braking system that engages during power failures. The controller supports interface terminal X4 with optical waveguides for communication, a SERCOS interface for speed commands, and a 10 V speed set-point. Maximum mounting elevation is specified at 1000 meters above sea level.
