The R911270243 (RAC 2.3-150-460-A00-Z1) is an AC main spindle drive controller designed for motors in systems with demanding speed and rigidity requirements. It is equipped with a microprocessor-based control system and utilizes an AS programming module. In fault conditions, it initiates braking and power shutdown, and faults are indicated on the control panel. The unit weighs 121 kg and should be handled using appropriate lifting equipment. Rated for 3 x AC 400 V, 50 Hz, ±15% or 3 x AC 460 V operation, it provides a rated current of 150 A. Cooling is achieved via an internal blower or built-in fan, and for ambient temperatures up to 45°C, additional cabinet cooling set to 40°C may be required to prevent condensation. The interface terminal is X4 (9 poles), with analogue speed command input (+/-10 V), and this configuration includes an additional bleeder but no supplementary encoder input. The controller is a series 2, version 3 device.
