Description
The modular RD 500 drive system, courtesy of Indramat Refu, incorporates a variety of units including the RD51 series, tailored to different synchronous and induction motors' models. A standout unit in this system is the R911200489 (RD51.1-4B-001-L-D1-FW), a type 1 RD51 converter equipped with a built-in brake chopper. This converter operates on a 3-phase AC nominal connecting voltage of 380V-480V and allows side-by-side mounting in control cabinets. Additionally, the unit can connect to an optional operator panel for streamlined operation and parameterization. Reinforcing safety, this converter includes a start inhibitor function to prevent accidental startups. Appropriate for environmental category 3k3, it needs a dust-free working area with an ambient temperature of 0-40oC. Indramat USA ships this product worldwide and it comes with a one-year warranty.
