Description
The RD 500 drive system by Bosch Rexroth is a versatile, three-phase system that can be applied to various synchronous and induction motors. Its modular design allows customization to suit specific tasks, with numerous components such as drive converters, DC connection inverters, and multiple versions of power supply modules. It is designed for an easy startup and automatic motor adaptation. Applications encompass food processing and packaging, chemical processes, handling and assembly, and conveyor technologies. The R911200646 (RD51.1-4N-005-L-CF-FW) converter, a component of the RD 500 drive system, utilizes U/f curve control method for motion control. It can operate on a three-phase AC voltage supply between 300 V and 480 V and can function at pulse modulation frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, and 12kHz.
