Designed to work with Bosch induction and synchronous motors, this device is tailored for industrial control applications. While separate firmware which supports various feature sets is essential, its power output rating is 45 kilowatts. This converter-based device accepts three-phase AC input, ranging from 380 to 480 volts AC, and its inbuilt brake chopper is integrated. It operates optimally between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, exceeding which may lead to output derating or device malfunctioning. Additional features include a standby power for functioning during AC supply absence (requires 24 volts DC) and a NAMUR terminal strip for connection to a chemistry module. With a current output of 82 Amps when functioning at 4 kilohertz, it can surge up to 164 Amps for specific durations. Housed in an IP20 rated enclosure for cabinet mounting, it has a radio interference suppression level of A1 as per EN 55011 standards.
