The R911201459 (RD51.1-4B-055-D-NN-FW), a universal RD 500 drive system from Bosch Rexroth Indramat, offers operation with induction and synchronous motors. With flexible hardware and software design, it accommodates a wide range of drive applications. The 55 kW converter-type unit runs on a nominal voltage of 3 x AC 380 – 480 Volts (+/- 10%), and works with the RD 42 power supply module. Key features include a four-line graphical display and plug-through cooling. Its 24-Volt external standby power unit provides backup power. The system features line reactors and suppression filters to deal with feedback harmonics and ensure EMC compliance. With an IP 20 rating per EN 60529, the ambient operating temperature range is 0 – 40 degrees Celsius. The DC link capacitors require reconditioning if the system storage exceeds two years at 40 degrees Celsius. Shipping is available globally, with a one-year warranty from Indramat USA.
