RECO-PC-104 N1 LK NSW01

The RECO-PC-104 N1 LK NSW01 is a programmable limit switch module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RECO Drive Modules series. Installed on a RECO backplane, it serves as the programmable limit switch master that issues high-speed output triggers to coordinated drives and PLCs. By responding to encoder position values in real time, the module supports precise cam switching and sequence control in packaging, converting, and material-handling machinery. This position-based operation allows connected equipment to perform timed actions at selected points during each machine cycle.

It has 2 Mini-Phoenix terminals that accept field wiring. The terminals have a small pitch that conserves cabinet space while providing secure connections in areas subject to vibration. Internal logic drives 16 digital outputs, allowing one module to handle multiple cams without additional output hardware. An output refresh interval of 250 µs allows state changes to occur in less than a millisecond, keeping cam edges aligned with fast-moving axes. Each output channel can source up to 250 mA, which is sufficient to energize compatible solenoid valves or optically isolated input cards without external relays. The rapid response supports applications that require repeatable switching as an axis passes programmed positions.

Field power enters at 24 VDC, and the current is limited to 2 A per connector to prevent circuit traces from overheating when several channels operate simultaneously. Each connector carries 8 outputs across 10 pins, keeping return lines and supply rails separated. Front-panel LEDs provide direct status information during operation. A dedicated output LED flashes with each transition, while a separate 24 V power LED confirms the presence of the incoming supply. The module uses an IP20 enclosure that protects against accidental contact with internal electrical parts while permitting convection cooling. Its DIN-rail mounting format supports installation within an industrial control cabinet, and its backplane connection provides access to the signals required for synchronized event distribution. As the network master, it sends time-critical events to subordinate drives once per machine cycle.
