The unit supports a minimum connectable resistance of 30 Ohms and an operating factor of 40% SD, with a corresponding power class of 005 (5.5 kW). The primary housing material is galvanized steel, offering structural integrity and corrosion resistance. The resistor displays a thermal time constant of 150 seconds for Type E and 100 seconds for Type F resistors, ensuring rapid heat dissipation and consistent thermal performance under varying load conditions. With cross-sections of 2.5 mm² for both 40% and 60% SD, the design accommodates efficient current flow and minimizes voltage drop.



The cylindrical, wire-wound design is cement-coated and housed within a perforated metal cover to promote airflow and heat release.
