XMS2 ctrlX Drives

XMS2 ctrlX DRIVE units are the second generation of single-axis inverter modules designed to operate from a shared 750 VDC bus, using an inverter power stage to drive the connected motor. The lineup covers maximum current ratings from 6 A up to 375 A, with variants available in internal air-cooling or coldplate cooling to match the power class and installation concept. Built-in Multi-Ethernet communication supports Sercos III, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and Ethernet TCP/IP, and selected control configurations also offer DRIVElink. Hardware options include multi-encoder evaluation, encoder emulation, expandability for digital and analog I/O, Safe Torque Off, and SafeMotion features to address speed- and position-related safety requirements. XMS2 ctrlX DRIVE units are suited for modular single- or multi-axis drive systems where multiple inverter axes share a common DC bus supplied by compatible ctrlX DRIVE supply units.
